Business Change Management Lead

As a Business Change Management Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Inventory Management programme. Your primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of Business Change Management, including identifying, planning, developing, and delivering business change activities for all stakeholders of the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain Business Change Management capability, including identifying, implementing, and continuously improving core standards, policies, processes, procedures, and templates.
  • Identify and develop business change activities, including communications, training needs analysis, organisation design, and business readiness.
  • Identify and mitigate business change management risks and issues, proposing mitigating actions to relevant Project/Programme Manager and Project Sponsor.
  • Create and execute detailed Business Change Management Plans, monitoring progress and reporting against those agreed plans.
  • Advise business and internal teams on Business Change Management best practice.

Requirements:

  • Take accountability for all actions and decisions, including technical, financial, and quality aspects.
  • Identify Business Change Management functional objectives and take responsibility as appropriate.
  • Define, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Business Change Management processes.
  • Establish and maintain influential relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners at senior management level.
  • Develop and maintain broad business understanding and Business Change Management expertise, including knowledge of the activities and practices within Thames Water and those of suppliers, partners, competitors, and clients.
  • Perform highly complex Business Change Management work activities, absorbing complex information and understanding the implications of new processes and technologies.
