Community Mental Health Worker

Hestia Housing Support is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Mental Health Worker. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the communities they serve.
As a Community Mental Health Worker, you will work closely with service users and their families to provide non-clinical support and guidance, helping them to navigate the complexities of mental health care. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local agencies and partners to ensure that our service users receive comprehensive support.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of recovery tools and mental health support services available in the local area
- Excellent listening skills and effective verbal communication skills to engage appropriately with service users and colleagues
- Lived experience of the acute mental health care pathway (e.g., ED attendance, acute admissions)
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a generous annual leave entitlement, and a contributory pension scheme.
