Job Title: Deputy Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the ward, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the ward's strategic plan, aligning with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RGN) and valid NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nurse in the UK, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
