Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physiotherapist to join our team at Boston Children's Hospital. As a Medical Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Evaluations: Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Treatment Programs: Develop and implement treatment programs to improve patients' physical function and mobility.
- Orthotics and Equipment: Recommend and train patients on the use of orthotics and adaptive equipment to improve their functional abilities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in patient medical records.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and quality of physical therapy services.
- Clinical Instruction: Provide clinical instruction to students and supervise physical therapist assistants and rehab aides.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Experience: At least one to two years of previous physical therapy experience.
- Licensure: MA PT licensure required.
