Job Title: Marine Engineering Electrical Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineering Electrical Trainer to join our team at CV Library. As a Marine Engineering Electrical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering electrical and electronic training to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct electrical and electronic principles training in accordance with the training plan and training standing operating procedures.
  • Assess student coursework and provide feedback on performance.
  • Be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.
  • Carry out equipment maintenance for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.
Requirements:
  • Consolidated experience (within the last 5 years) or directly employed in marine electrical and electronic engineering principles in the maritime environment.
  • Previous knowledge in the application of marine electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction to phase 2 and 3 electrical engineering courses with an awareness of electrical theory, electrical safety, power and distribution, high voltage, electrical test equipment, electrical maintenance, damage control, and waste processing.
  • Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian electrical and electronic environment (ideally within the last 5 years).
  • Experience in the development of electrical and electronic engineering-based training courses.
  • Qualified academically or vocationally to a minimum of Level 3 engineering in relevant subject matter.
  • Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
