Job Description

This Occupational Therapist role is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our pupils. Working closely with school staff, families, and the multi-disciplinary team, you will create an environment that fosters growth and development for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to support children's physical, sensory, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure that OT interventions are integrated into the curriculum.
  • Assess and develop Individualised Developmental Plans (IDPs) to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and parents on strategies to support pupils' sensory and emotional needs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with children with autism, SEMH, or special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and therapeutic approaches for emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment.

Salary Information

£24,999.75 per annum, paid 37.5 hours/week, term-time only.
