Job Title: Security and Batch Operations Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Batch Operations Analyst to join our team at PayPoint Group. As a key member of our Security Operations Centre (SOC), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational controls necessary to deliver high-quality services to our clients, retailers, and consumers across the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Monitor and manage both IT and Security incidents, ensuring prompt and effective resolution to minimize downtime and impact on our services.
  • Cyber Security: Investigate and resolve cyber security events, collaborating with the SOC team to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations into the root cause of security events, escalating when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Support internal and external stakeholders to enhance PayPoint's security posture, providing expert advice and guidance on security best practices.
  • Shift Work: Be part of a 24/7 rotating shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off), ensuring our services are always available and secure.

Requirements:

  • IT Sector Passion: Passion for the IT sector with a keen interest in Cyber Security, and a strong understanding of Windows Desktop and Server OS's (2012 to 2019), Microsoft Office 365, and Windows Server Services (DHCP, DNS, AD).
  • Experience: Experience in a 24/7 rota within IT or Security, with a strong understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and batch automation tools, Linux, and Azure.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
