Position Overview
As a key member of the Tesco Mobile Development team, you will engage in the secure and efficient management of our IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and security of our bespoke and SaaS-based IT solutions, while collaborating with a diverse group of skilled professionals on critical full-stack development projects.

Your Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with team members, embodying the values of Tesco Mobile. Partner with the Chapter Lead to enhance the security posture of our infrastructure and applications. Establish and refine security standards for our infrastructure. Serve as the authority on infrastructure security matters. Work alongside application development teams to optimize logging for actionable insights. Tackle complex technical challenges that span multiple business areas. Develop business cases for security enhancements and communicate these effectively to stakeholders. Facilitate knowledge sharing within the squad.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience in security operations management. Proficient in utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Hands-on experience with Splunk, including managing data streams and creating dashboards. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security tools. Knowledge of SAST and other methodologies to bolster code security. Experience with tools like SonarCloud and AWS Security Hub to enhance security measures. Desire to acquire new skills and knowledge. Preferred: Understanding of source code management and branching strategies, experience with Github and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
