Senior Technical Accounting Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join our team at Hays Senior Finance in London. As a key member of our controllership division, you will be responsible for addressing complex accounting issues and providing technical accounting guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Policy manual updates and maintenance
- Lease Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Financial Instruments
- Disposals and acquisitions, FRS102 to FRS101 transitions, and Ad-hoc complex accounting issues
- IFRS queries and Share-based payments
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified accountant with ACA training and excellent working knowledge of IFRS and accounting advisory/accounting policy work in practice or industry. Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex financials in an understandable and actionable manner are essential.
