About the Role

NHS Scotland is committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a Health and Social Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering this care and support to patients in their own homes.

As a member of the East Caithness Health and Social Care Team, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to service users. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to use their own initiative. You will be required to work with patients in their own homes, providing high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to the local community.

Experience is not required, although it is beneficial. Full training will be provided, and the applicant will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.

A driving licence is essential for this post, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes. A pool vehicle is available for rural areas.

This is a permanent post, and flexible employment opportunities are available with various shift patterns offered. Set shifts are available, including 7am - 11am, 7am - 2pm, 11am - 2pm, 5pm - 10pm, and 4 days on, 4 days off.

Bank Worker opportunities are also available via NHS Highland Staff Bank.
