Financial Operations Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Qualserv Consulting Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Place, Fire & Rescue finance teams in the end-to-end process of Budget Setting, Budget Monitoring, and Closure of Accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Utilize finance systems to produce reports and complete transactions, including journals and recharges
* Manage the shared email account and respond to queries
* Provide administrative support to the finance team
* Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations

**Requirements**

* AAT membership or working towards it
* Excellent communication and ICT skills, including proficiency in corporate finance systems and Excel
* Ability to work effectively with officers, external auditors, and partners

**What We Offer**

* Competitive hourly rate of £15.90 (inside IR35 via an umbrella company only)
* Hybrid working arrangement with 37 hours per week
