About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Richmond Villages Wood Norton. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest cleaning standards throughout our luxury retirement village.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all residents' care home facilities, public areas, and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.
  • Operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Empty bins regularly and report any safety hazards to management.
  • Provide exceptional cleaning services, including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning carpets and upholstery.
  • Wash, dry, and iron residents' clothing, bedding, and communal laundry, including for our on-site care home residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe working environment and maintain compliance with Health and Safety standards and COSHH regulations.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with experience in housekeeping or domestic cleaning, who possesses a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards. You will be a friendly and approachable team player, with strong communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
