Job Title: Finance Data Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Data Administrator to join our team at Morgan Jones Limited. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for supporting the management accounts department and ensuring the smooth implementation of our new accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the management accounts department, ensuring accurate and timely data processing.
  • Support data validation and preparation for the new accounting software, working closely with the finance team to maintain a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with colleagues and management, ensuring the department's strategic goals are met efficiently.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy and completeness within given deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the sales ledger team during peak times, validating customer and sales data for seamless transfer to the new ERP system.
  • Work with the purchase ledger team during busy periods, validating supplier and purchasing data for the new software upload.
  • Engage in various tasks, including bank, asset, stock, overheads, and foreign exchange, confirming and validating balance transfers for the new software upload.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience across all areas of finance functions, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in system implementation is a plus, but not required.
