Finance Data Administrator Job Description

Contract Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Finance Data Administrator to join their team. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity that will run until the end of March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and validating data from existing software for transfer onto a new ERP system. They will also provide support and be involved in the month-end procedure across all functions, including:

Sales Ledger:
  • Validating customer and sales data and preparing files for upload to the new software, working alongside the sales ledger team.
Purchase Ledger:
  • Validating supplier and purchasing data and preparing files for upload to the new software, working alongside the purchase ledger team.
Nominal Ledger:
  • Involvement in all areas, including bank, asset, stock, overheads, and foreign exchange. Confirming and validating balance transfers and preparing files for upload to the new software.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within all areas of a finance function and be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel. Experience of implementing a system is advantageous but not essential.
