Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home, working closely with the Home Manager and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
Ensure the effective management of care home operations, including budgeting, financial management, and human resources
Collaborate with the Home Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve care quality and resident satisfaction
Provide leadership and guidance to care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent care
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the care experience for residents
Requirements
Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
Experience of working in the healthcare sector
Management/leadership experience and qualification (desirable)
Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
A caring nature with ability to give everyone a personal approach
Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice
Work well under pressure without negative impact to those around you
Warm, approachable, and engaging persona
Respect everyone, treating others as you would expect to be treated
Resilient and adaptable to differing needs of colleagues and residents
