Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our care home, working closely with the Home Manager and multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.
Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the effective management of the care home, including budgeting, financial controls, and human resources.
Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues to promote their professional development and growth.
Act as a role model, demonstrating a kind, caring, and compassionate approach to care, and promoting a culture of excellence and respect within the care home.
Requirements
Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
Experience of working within the healthcare sector.
Management/Leadership experience (essential) and qualification (desirable).
Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN.
A caring nature with the ability to give everyone a personal approach.
Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice.
Work well under pressure without negative impact on those around you.
Warm, approachable, and engaging persona.
Respect everyone, treating others as you would expect to be treated.
Resilient and adaptable to differing needs of colleagues and residents.
