About the RolePerspectum Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team in Oxford, UK. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a high-quality, scalable cloud-based platform.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in Python development, preferably using Django. Your expertise should include web server configuration and integration, relational database technology, and experience working on Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of agile methodologies and quality systems such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.
About the JobThis full-time position offers a competitive salary, estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role also includes benefits such as relocation support and the opportunity to work with a talented team in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable cloud-based platforms using Python and Django.
- Configure and integrate web servers, such as Nginx, and relational databases, like MySQL or Postgres.
- Develop and maintain Python applications and services, ensuring high-quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines, automating tasks where possible.
- Ensure adherence to quality systems, such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, in a software context.
