An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Bridgend Flying Start team to cover maternity leave. This fixed contract role is an excellent chance to join Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as a Health Visitor.

The main purpose of this job includes the assessment of health need, implementation and evaluation of health-enhancing activities, and generation of information that can be utilized to influence policies that affect health.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board provides primary, secondary, and community health services to around 450,000 people in three County Boroughs. We prioritize our staff, with around 80% living within the region. Our workforce of 15,000 is the lifeblood of our organization and diverse communities we serve.

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Community Health Studies, preferably with an MSc. Relevant post-registration experience and multi-agency working skills are also desirable.

This Health Visitor role involves working with pre-school children and families within a geographic area or General Practice population. If you are passionate about improving public health, this is an excellent opportunity to make a difference.
