We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our Autism Support Provisions Unit within a secondary school in Barnet.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual and group support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, working closely with teachers and parents/carers to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships and establishing routines with students
  • Supporting pupils across a range of classes and learning activities
  • Communicating effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents/carers
  • Assisting with assessments and reporting in line with EHCP requirements

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of autism and experience working with students with SEN. A passion for supporting pupils with autism and a commitment to delivering high-quality education are essential.
