Residential Care Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Children, Young Person and Family Practitioner to take on the role of Ofsted Residential Home Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Implement child-centred practice and all procedures to protect children.
- Provide professional supervision to managers and staff in line with the Trust's policy on reflective supervision.
- Taking responsibility for your own continuing professional development.
- Ensuring the safety of staff and children by completing appropriate risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Children, Young Person and Family Practitioner qualification
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- An understanding of the needs of looked after young people
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and statutory guidance
- An understanding of intervention strategies
