We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Midwife to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate midwife to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to women and their families in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients in the community, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and optimal outcomes for patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community partners to promote health and well-being.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of community-based midwifery services, including education and training programs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to ensure high standards of care and patient safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a midwife.
- Experience in community midwifery or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current midwifery issues and best practices.
