Urology Support Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urology Support Nurse to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist nursing and clinical support to urology patients across the trust in both in-patient, day case and out-patient settings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Nurse Practitioners in out-patient clinics and other nurse-led services.
- Perform general urological nursing tasks in relation to patient care and act as a point of contact, liaison to community members and advocate to patients within the specialty.
- Work predominantly 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday, with flexible working required for the provision of Saturday clinics according to service need.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse / Midwife qualification.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence of post-registration qualification/education to diploma/degree level.
- Awareness and understanding of current issues within nursing, midwifery and the wider NHS.
