Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative practitioner to join our team as a Unit Sister in SAU. The successful post holder will need to adopt a visible and accessible approach for patients, their relatives, carers and staff, to co-ordinate teams to help improve performance at all levels.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful post holder will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, clinical expertise and knowledge. They will need to possess positive leadership skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative, as part of a team and possess excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate teams to improve performance at all levels
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and experience
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
- Up to date ILS and mandatory training
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing plus specialist experience/training
- Current NMC Registration
