Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative practitioner to join the Perioperative Medicine Collaborative as a Clinical Sister SAU. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dynamic support as a unit sister, working in a fast-paced environment to improve patient care and outcomes.

Main Duties of the Job

The Clinical Sister SAU will be responsible for coordinating teams to improve performance, adopting a visible and accessible approach for patients, relatives, carers, and staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and knowledge, as well as positive leadership skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating teams to improve performance and patient outcomes
  • Providing dynamic support as a unit sister in a fast-paced environment
  • Adopting a visible and accessible approach for patients, relatives, carers, and staff
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
  • Leading and managing teams to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Up-to-date ILS and mandatory training
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing plus specialist experience/training
  • Current NMC Registration
