Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative practitioner to provide dynamic support as a unit sister in the Perioperative Medicine Collaborative at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful post holder will need to adopt a visible and accessible approach for patients, their relatives, carers, and staff, to co-ordinate teams to help improve performance at all levels. Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and knowledge. They will also need to possess positive leadership skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative, as part of a team, and possess excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate teams to improve performance at all levels
- Adopt a visible and accessible approach for patients, their relatives, carers, and staff
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and knowledge
- Posess positive leadership skills and have the ability to work on their own initiative
Requirements
- Up to date ILS and mandatory training
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing plus specialist experience/training
- Current NMC Registration
