Overview

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Principal Clinical Systems Engineer to join our Clinical Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining our products, translating customer requirements into system designs, and ensuring the development of safe and effective products.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Systems for the Clinical Business Unit.
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand and define system context and user requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to generate system designs and architectures.
  • Own system verification and validation documents to ensure test evidence meets system design requirements.
  • Lead the development and support of existing Waters Clinical systems and technologies.
  • Promote the use of systems engineering tools, processes, and practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related subject.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment, particularly with LC and/or mass spectrometry or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in the development of LC and/or MS instrumentation.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment and understand high-level software and electro-mechanical architecture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
