About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Transformer Project Manager to join our team in Surrey, England, UK. As a key member of our expanding UK team, you will be responsible for project managing the tendering, transport, installation, construction, and maintenance of power transformers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in project management roles for National Grid or Principal Contractors organisations, with a focus on power transformers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Scoping, scheduling, and controlling projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  2. Liaising with stakeholders, including subcontractors, sales teams, factory teams, and customers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Identifying potential issues and risks, reporting to senior management, and suggesting resolutions to mitigate these risks.
  4. Maintaining positive relationships with customers, gathering feedback, and improving services accordingly.
  5. Managing documents, including design, quality, progress reports, and contractual deliverables, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  6. Supporting HQ/Factory/UK teams in tendering activities, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
  7. Overseeing installation and construction stages, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
Your Profile:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in project management roles for National Grid or Principal Contractors organisations, with a focus on power transformers.
