Job Description

As a Front Desk Administrator at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare teams.


Your duties will include:


* Greeting patients and families upon arrival


* Booking patients into the department and managing their appointments


* Answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails


* Maintaining accurate records and files


* Performing word processing tasks, such as typing reports and letters


* Distributing documents and information as required


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment


* Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks


* Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office software


* A high school diploma or equivalent qualification


* Experience working in a healthcare setting (desirable)


Working Hours

This role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week.


You will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

The salary for this role is £25,500 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
