Page Personnel Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team in Burgess Hill.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting timely and accurate financial statements, conducting regular financial analysis, and managing the invoice finance facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Invoice Finance Facility Management: Manage the invoice finance facility, including monitoring receivables and reconciling accounts.
- Cash Flow Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize cash flow, considering the utilization of the invoice finance facility alongside currency risk management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with relevant departments to create annual budgets and forecasts aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Financial Risk Assessment: Assess financial risks, including currency fluctuations and credit risks associated with the invoice finance facility.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support business growth, including expansion plans and investment opportunities.
- Financial Insights: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring their continued development and performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to streamline financial processes and support cross-functional initiatives.
- AAT or QBE qualification
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Experience in cash flow and risk management
