We are partnering with a successful SME in Burgess Hill to find a talented Finance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from practice to industry, with the support of senior leadership who have made a similar journey.
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc and regular analysis to identify key business trends and present recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, long-term financial forecast, and in-year reforecasts.
- Financial Planning and Control: Coordinate the monthly management account process, including preparation of monthly board packs and consolidated accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare year-end statutory accounts and ensure accounting policies comply with relevant standards.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage day-to-day transactional responsibilities, including posting of journals and reconciliations.
- Process Improvement: Recommend changes to improve financial performance and procedures.
- Team Support: Assist with the implementation of new processes and controls and support the group audit process.
