You will be supported by senior leaders who have made a similar journey. As part of a team of part-qualified accountants, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting ad-hoc and regular analysis to identify key business trends and presenting recommendations based on this work.
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, long-term financial forecast for strategic planning, and in-year reforecasts as required.
• Coordinating the monthly management account process, including preparation of monthly board packs and consolidated accounts.
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts.
• Managing day-to-day transactional responsibilities, including posting of journals and reconciliations.
• Ensuring accounting policies comply with relevant accounting standards (FRS 102).
• Recommending changes to improve the company's financial performance and financial procedures and controls.
• Supporting the implementation of new processes and controls.
• Assisting with the Group Audit process, acting as a point of contact for auditors on specific sections.
