About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our First Response Service as a Call Referral Handler. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive administrative support to our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls from healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders, taking mental health crisis referral information and accurately entering data into electronic systems.
  • Share information with other professional disciplines in line with Data Protection Regulations.
  • Generate letters for GPs and other professionals, and liaise with them via email and telephone.
  • Support the administration team with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to provide a high standard of care and support to patients.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages and electronic filing systems.
  • Experience of working in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a flexible approach to working hours.
