About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our First Response Service as a Call Referral Handler. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive administrative support to our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls from healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders, taking mental health crisis referral information and accurately entering data into electronic systems.
  • Share information with other professional disciplines, such as the police, in line with Data Protection Regulations.
  • Support the administration team with general administrative tasks, including diary management, arranging appointments, and maintaining electronic filing systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing a diverse workload.
  • Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience of working in an administrative or secretarial team, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
