Property Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Mears. As a key member of our local team, you will be responsible for undertaking high-standard caretaking works to housing properties, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and cost control standards.
This field-based role involves working in Kent, London, and Hampshire, with a company van and fuel card provided for travel. You will be responsible for ensuring cleaning, repairs, and maintenance are carried out in accordance with agreed protocols and time frames.
You will be proactive in ensuring PPM safety compliance on all blocks, scheduling upcoming works, including Fire Risk Assessments, seasonal upkeep, and safety checks at the necessary intervals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in caretaking, cleaning, and laboring
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Able to understand and follow standard operating procedures
- Able to use a PDA following training
