About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Maje. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving commercial and operational success, while also coaching and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in the commercial and operational management of the store, including sales growth, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Lead and develop a team of retail professionals, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained, adhering to Maje's visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive store culture, fostering a team environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and open communication.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, with a focus on sales growth and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Passion for fashion and retail, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends.
