Job Title: Apprentice Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Facilities Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including PPMs and reactive maintenance.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and CAFM documentation for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
  • Develop and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  • Build positive relationships with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to uniform and PPE requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date plant logs at all times.
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractors' maintenance activities on site.
  • Adhere to contractual KPIs and SLAs.
  • Maintain the CAFM system, ensuring accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets with captured data.
  • Operate a Permit to Work System in line with Technical and Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality processes.
  • Provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • NVQ/City and Guilds certification
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working within a Facilities Management environment on PPMs
