Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ESG Sustainability Manager to join our team. This critical role will play a key part in developing and implementing our Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy, ensuring OrganOx remains a leader in sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead our global ESG strategy, working closely with senior leadership and internal teams.
  • Establish a framework for obtaining ESG certifications and accreditations, aligning with our defined strategy.
  • Design and implement stakeholder engagement plans to promote sustainability and collaboration throughout our value chain.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, internal teams, investors, and key partners to drive a culture of ESG excellence.
  • Organize workshops, training sessions, and events to educate stakeholders on sustainability best practices.
  • Measure and report ESG performance using benchmark Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Benchmark our ESG performance against industry best practice.
  • Conduct sustainability reporting in the UK and USA, as regulations dictate.
  • Work with the marketing team to communicate sustainability progress and social impact initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, visitors, local communities, charities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and execute compelling sustainability and social value initiatives to enhance our ESG performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with ESG legislation and practices, ensuring our business procedures and policies remain current.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supporting and implementing sustainability programs, with a track record of delivering against publicly stated ESG goals.
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001 and GHG calculation.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to lead multi-functional committees.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with internal stakeholders across the company.
  • Thorough understanding of ESG best practice in regulated industries.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an ESG leadership role.
  • Formal qualification in Sustainability, Environmental, Management, or Engineering to Bachelor's (Hons) Degree level or equivalent professional diploma.
