Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will provide support to pupils and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in behavioural management and in the delivery of lessons
  • Plan and deliver your own classes due to unplanned absences
  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils as required
Requirements:
  • Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent to a level 4 NVQ
  • Experience supporting a teacher in and out of the classroom
  • Passion for working towards raising standards of teaching
  • Experience dealing with behaviours and incidents in the classroom
  • Ability to motivate and encourage pupils to achieve their potential
  • Effective liaison with staff members and reporting incidents professionally
