Job Title: Data Protection Analyst

InterQuest Group is proud to support a well-established Financial Services institution in Manchester in their search for a Data Protection Adviser. This role is ideal for candidates with Data Protection experience from the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to GDPR and the Data Governance Framework, and support the DPO in promoting data security best practices.
  • Manage data controller registrations with the Information Commissioners' Office and oversee end-to-end processes for data subject access requests (DSARs).
  • Develop and maintain current, risk-based, and effective Data Protection policies and procedures, and assist in creating training materials and awareness campaigns.
  • Conduct robust Data Risk Assurance to monitor policy effectiveness, review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and support the review of data protection clauses in contracts.
