HR Advisor Role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing support to our clients and their employees, handling employee relations cases, and working closely with our HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations cases, including complex disciplinaries and grievances
  • Lead on absence management cases and work with managers to tackle absence problems
  • Assist with restructures and consultations, and provide support to line managers
  • Visit sites and work with line managers to identify employee issues and develop effective solutions
  • Update and amend contracts, and write policies
  • Assist with recruitment and work with the administrative team to keep employee databases up to date

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of employment law and a CIPD Level 5 qualification or be willing to work towards it. You will also need to have experience in handling long-term sickness and absence cases, and working with managers to identify trends and offer solutions.
