About This Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Social Worker Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance on complex case arrangements, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.

The ideal candidate will possess a professional Social Work qualification or equivalent, with in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and registration with Social Work England. You will be responsible for identifying needs and strengths through assessment and sourcing solutions and interventions, as well as completing support planning to meet outcomes within budgetary constraints.

Your duties will include taking a professional lead on adult safeguarding issues, overseeing cases of individuals who lack capacity to agree to or plan their care, and providing specialist social work practice skills and knowledge to make independent decisions in high-risk situations. You will also provide written and verbal reports based on complex evidence, assess and manage risk, promote service user empowerment and diversity, and provide supervision or mentoring as required.

Main Objectives:

Requirements:

  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with Social Work England.
