About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team at Linsco as a SHEQ Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established utility services provider with national coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Planning and Promotion of HSE Programs
  • Engage and Communicate with Operational Staff on HSEQ Matters
  • Monitor HSE Performance on Contracts and Improve Standards
  • Conduct Regular Site, Compound, and CDM Audits
  • Ensure CDM Sites are Compliant and Relevant Documentation is in Place
  • Support in Compiling, Reviewing, and Revising Project SHEQ Documentation
  • Ensure Site Notice Boards are Current and ERECTED in the Appropriate Place
  • Assist in the Preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender Documentation
  • Investigate Accidents, Incidents, Utility Damages, and Introduce Preventative Measures
  • Ensure Staff Under Your Influence Have Appropriate Training in HSE Matters
  • Ensure Strict Adherence to Reporting and Recording Procedures for Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences
  • Provide Specialist Advice on the Company's Safety Policy and Procedures
  • Recommend Disciplinary Procedures for Operational Staff
Requirements
  • Previous Experience Working within Utilities Environments, Preferably within the Gas Industry
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a Minimum Standard)
  • EUSR or CSCS in a Related Subject
  • NRSWA (SWQR)
  • Working Knowledge of HSG47
  • Proficient in Accident/Incident Investigation & RCA
  • Proficient in Data Analysis & Compiling Reports
  • Competent in Core Standard Microsoft Software
