Job Title: Regional SHEQ Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional SHEQ Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing health, safety, quality, and environmental matters within our Gas Division. This will involve providing professional advice and solutions to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety best practices to ensure compliance with current legislation and approved codes of practice.
  • Advise on the planning and promotion of health, safety, environment, and quality programs.
  • Engage and communicate with operational staff to ensure effective implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Assist in compiling and reviewing project SHEQ documentation, including risk registers, method statements, and emergency plans.
  • Ensure site notice boards are current and accurately reflect company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard)
  • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject
  • NRSWA (SWQR)
  • Working knowledge of HSG47
  • Power/Fibre/Water/Gas experience
  • Proficient in accident/incident investigation and RCA
  • Proficient in data analysis and compiling reports
  • Competent in core standard Microsoft software
