Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our SEN unit within our mainstream school. As a key member of our team, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, both in individual and group settings, to facilitate their learning and development.

Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils within the SEN unit.

Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably within a school setting.
A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with pupils.
A proactive attitude and willingness to support pupils' holistic development, including their social, emotional, and academic progress.
This is a full-time position, offering a permanent contract. Opportunities for professional development and career progression within the school.
