Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Water System Maintenance Specialist to join our team at The Recruitment Co. Careers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for implementing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme in accordance with specifications and assigned Work Packages.

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as required, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and repair life-expired equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and replacements of faulty or outdated equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Carry out water system inspections, sampling, and risk assessments to guarantee safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair mains water supply systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain adherence to established safety standards and method statements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by minimising waste and optimising resource usage.
  • Complete statutory tasks within compliance timelines and adhere to relevant industry standards.
Professional Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
    • A relevant trade qualification in plumbing is mandatory.
    • Full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Experience:
    • Proficiency in Maximo maintenance systems or a similar platform is desired.
    • Previous experience operating light plant equipment is advantageous.
  • Behavioural Competencies:
    • Possession of a valid Gas Safe registration card is required.
    • Certification in Legionella Control (L8) is highly valued.
What We Offer:
  • An estimated salary range of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
