About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Manager to join our quality management team at CV Library.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical management and experience working in the food sector.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Internal quality management: Maintaining and improving our internal quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • External customer management: Providing exceptional service to our customers, including responding to non-contract customer requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Stock code management: Creating new stock codes for products and ensuring accurate and appropriate descriptions.
  • Customer online systems: Managing our online systems, including Traqtion, Erudus, and Country Range.
  • BRC compliance: Working closely with the internal quality management team to maintain BRC compliance systems.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Major complaints: Owning major issues from the outset and resolving them efficiently.
  • Debit system: Supporting the Head of Technical in achieving debit system objectives by gathering data.
  • Barcode creation: Creating new barcodes for product labels using the GS1 system.
  • Sending specs, labels, and BRC certificates: Sending specifications, labels, and BRC certificates as required.
  • Confirmation of barcodes and sedex number: Confirming barcodes and providing the sedex number as needed.
  • Arranging samples: Arranging samples as required.

The estimated salary for this position is around £40,250 per annum, based on the location in Hertford, Herts.

The salary range is approximately £36,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience.
