About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team at StandardAero. As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality procedures, manufacturers' specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of individual parts as per inspection level specified in overhaul or maintenance manuals, Detailed Work Instructions (DWI), or Engineering Repair Instructions (ERI).
  • Perform Borescope Inspections on engines.
  • Assemble main engines, modules, and all sub-assemblies.
  • Flow test of individual components and assemblies.
  • Adhere to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and all associated Business Manuals.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal communication and written skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to use computers/computer systems.
  • Additional training/experience in a technical field.
  • Familiarity with quality procedures and documentation, including process paperwork, parts routing procedures, Engineering Repair Instructions, Detailed Work Instructions, and Non-Conformance Report systems.
  • Working knowledge of Engine publications and work instructions, including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues, and service bulletins.
