About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our innovative and successful Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialist Service at Kettering General Hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support patients and families affected by Upper GI cancers
  • Work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care and support
  • Be an active member of both the local and specialist Upper GI cancer MDTs
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Teaching qualification
  • Masters degree or working towards
  • Gastroenterology related qualification
Desirable Skills
  • Previous Gastroenterology experience of two years
  • Extensive post-registration experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Gastrointestinal illnesses
  • Previous experience of multidisciplinary team working
  • Previous experience of teaching
