Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Environment Manager to join our team at Carrington West. As a Health and Environment Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing incident investigations and overseeing health surveillance programs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on busy civil engineering projects, conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identifying areas for improvement. You will also review, update, and manage HSE policies, risk assessments, and work permits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related matters.
  2. Review, update, and manage HSE policies, risk assessments, and work permits.
  3. Lead and manage incident investigations and oversee health surveillance programs.
  4. Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate is essential; NEBOSH National Diploma is highly desirable.
  • Able to travel when required to sites across the UK.
  • Company van and fuel card provided.
  • Pension scheme.

Estimated Salary Range: £32,000-£36,000 per annum
