About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Account Handler to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Account Executives, ensuring the smooth renewal process for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing client accounts during the renewals process, including admin, presentations, negotiating premiums, and managing paperwork.
  • Working in partnership with Account Executives to deliver the needs of our clients, utilizing first-class interpersonal skills and a dedication to customer happiness.
  • Building renewals documents, reports, balancing mid-term adjustments, and crafting new quotes for customers.
  • Ensuring client details are recorded accurately, providing cover by renewal date, assisting clients with queries daily, confirming cover with insurers, processing policies, and chasing outstanding documentation when required.
  • Managing account queries and credit control matters, as well as preparing underwriting information for presentations to insurers.
  • Designing and delivering presentations as required, following up on new and existing renewal business quotations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Real Estate/Property Owners Account Handler handling UK or European Property Owners.
  • Progression towards Cert CII, Dip CII, or Advanced Dip CII.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to negotiate.
